Something for everyone
TM31 absolutely love it
Feed, nourish and please the whole family with one easy Thermomix dish and a few simple adjustments from the Something for Everyone cookbook by Louise Keats. By “everyone”, we mean baby and toddler meal ideas too. And by “something”, we mean delicious, healthy family-favourite meals, made from scratch using fresh ingredients and wholefoods free from preservatives, additives and refined sugar.
No need to create separate meals for the littlies and fussiest eaters – every one of Louise Keats’ recipes is designed to feed the whole family. Something for Everyone gives you simple solutions to the biggest challenges at family mealtimes. From allergy advice symbols and easy recipe adaptations for every age group, to tips on starting babies on solids, managing fussy toddlers and broadening your family’s culinary horizons.
Written by nutrition writer and cookbook author Louise Keats, Something for Everyone is more than a cookbook to many Thermomix families. It’s a life-changer. “Studies from around the world have found that children who eat more frequent family meals consume more key nutrients, vegetables, fruit, fibre and protein, and eat fewer processed foods, sweets and soft drinks,” says Louise. “What’s more, there’s evidence that the meal patterns and food choices set in childhood persist into the adult years, so the effect continues for years to come.”
Chapters include Louise Keats’ recipes for healthy breakfast and lunch ideas for kids, as well as family-favourite dinners. There’s even a section on desserts and baking to satisfy your sweet tooth, while cutting back on sugar and adding in a few sneaky serves of fruit and veg where possible.
You’ll never need to make a meal of family mealtime again. Just one or two simple dishes from Something for Everyone cookbook will put a smile on every face and goodness in every belly.
Suitable for Thermomix models TM31, TM6 and TM5.
Does the cookbook really offer something for everyone with allergies? Yes! Every one of Louise Keats’ recipes includes allergy symbols. You’ll find 60 nut-free, 41 egg-free and 34 dairy-free family-friendly meals, plus 37 gluten-free and 63 sesame-free recipes.
When we launched Louise Keats’ first Thermomix book, Thermomix Cooking for Your Baby & Toddler, parents were raving about the last chapter devoted to family meals, with baby and toddler adaptions for each recipe. They asked for more and Louise Keats answered the call with this cookbook devoted to family-friendly recipes. Here are a few that our little and big kids can’t get enough of.
Dundee cake
This recipe originally comes from Louise’s grandma, Margaret Fulton, and she’s converted it to a Thermomix recipe. “This cake has been made by every generation of my foodie family, more times that I could count. It’s not as rich as a Christmas fruit cake. and is perfect with an afternoon cup of tea.”
Hainan chicken
Every part of this dish, including both dipping sauces, can be prepped and cooked in your Thermomix and on the table in just over an hour. Louise says that before she owned a Thermomix, “My husband and I would use a large saucepan to poach the chicken, a rice cooker, a mortar and pestle to make the dipping sauces, and half the utensils in our kitchen. The clean-up was always a soul-destroying task. Thank goodness for our beloved Thermomix – this dish is now a breeze!”

Lovely recipes and also bought one for my Bestie. Thanks for putting this together with lovely photos.
My daughter used a similar book for our grandsons and I am hoping that they will be loved by the new parents.
